FLEX Charity Cars raise a donation of €7,250 for the Cancer Foundation

For three months, two cars from the FLEX Carsharing fleet were on the road as charity cars for the Luxembourg Cancer Foundation. The highlight: by using the two cars, everyone automatically donated the cost of the rental. The money is now being used for family support for parents with cancer.

Two electric Minis from FLEX as charity cars were on the road from 01 July to 30 September 100% for a good cause of customers. After the three months, the fundraising campaign with the two cars can be considered a complete success: “A total of 148 customers were able to make a positive contribution to society with the help of the donation,” says Jürgen Berg, Director of CFL Mobility. The two Minis have travelled more than 10,000 km in pure electric mode and have been very popular with our customers. Lucienne Thommes, Director of the Fondation Cancer adds: “we are very happy about the commitment of the FLEX Carsharers. The contribution will now be targeted for family support for parents with cancer”. The project supports patients in managing their daily lives during treatment.

As a result, the donation amounts to €7,250. The amount was rounded up by CFL Mobility and handed over to the Luxembourg Cancer Foundation. Further partnerships for FLEX Charity Cars are already being planned for the coming year.
